Dear members and friends of Youth Cancer Europe,

August 24 – 27, 2017 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

We’re expecting young people between the ages of 18 – 39 to participate.

The meeting will provide a platform for Highlighting best practice examples of cancer care, policy and advocacy, a unique Open Space Meeting where participants will self-organise around highly efficient purpose-driven leadership and agenda in order to tackle the most urgent and relevant issues they identify, as well as the 2017 General Assembly of members with an intention to form a strong foundation for Youth Cancer Europe, centered on democracy and transparency, establishing the formal governance structure and deciding on key activity areas for the next three years.

Here you can find the preliminary agenda.

We are committed to making sure that as many cancer survivors from across Europe can join as possible, so there will be no attendance fee and meals & accommodation are complimentary.

The organizers will reimburse travel costs (economy class flight ticket) for a limited number of country representatives, up to 300 euro per person, after the event. In order to be eligible, you must send your travel itinerary to katie@youthcancereurope.org before 1st August. We also urge participants to look for local funding for their travel and try to book flights as early as possible in order to get best prices.

You can download the reimbursement form here. Reimbursement will happen after the event based on prior agreement with the organizers.

Should you have any questions, feel free to contact Katie on katie@youthcancereurope.org
