I recently qualified as a health psychologist. After having Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 23 years old (a long time ago now!), it made me interested in learning about peoples’ experiences of illness and how it affects them.

I am also interested in how people can be supported to lead healthier lives. Since working in cancer research, I have become more aware of late effects of cancer and I aim to do a PhD looking at the provision of lifestyle advice to survivors in long-term follow-up in the U.K.
