I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when I was 20 and am nearing a year since I finished treatment. The whole experience for me was very isolating. I had to stop attending University and was unable to see my friends. I was also unable to continue practicing music which I had been studying.

My fields of interest are as follows:

• To push for a faster diagnosis time and decrease the amount of misdiagnosis
• To improve awareness and access to help for mental health during and especially after treatment
• To emphasise the importance of support groups for young people for social and educational purposes
