In the second instalment of our Patient On Patient interviews, Ania and Magda, both hailing from Poland, talk about the existing issues surrounding cross-border healthcare in Europe and how this affects young cancer patients around the continent. Ania herself was diagnosed as a child in 1990, and shares her own experience as well as that of other families who have had to jump through hoops and administrative hold-ups in order to receive the necessary life-saving treatment in a country other than their own.

Cross-border healthcare is one of the key issues we recently addressed in the launch of our white paper at the European Parliament. You can find out more about this here.
